The Calm Garden · Amethyst · Clear Quartz · Driftwood

A forest clearing at midnight. Pale quartz chips scatter like moonlight across the ground, and one raw amethyst glows violet at the foot of an old, wind-carved tree. Moonlit Clearing is set in a matte black pedestal cup with dried florals and greenery — quiet, a little mysterious, and made for the last light of the day.

The energy

Calm, with a clear head. Two of the best-loved stones in crystal tradition share this small landscape: amethyst, long associated with calm and intuition, and clear quartz, long associated with clarity. Keep it as a nightly cue to set the day down — or simply as a beautiful thing to look at before you turn out the light.

  • Amethyst — From the Greek amethystos, ‘not intoxicated’ — the ancient Greeks linked it with a clear, sober mind. Today it is the classic stone of calm and intuition, and February’s birthstone.
  • Clear quartz — Known in crystal lore as the ‘master stone’, long associated with clarity and with amplifying whatever intention you set beside it. The ancient Greeks called it krystallos — ‘ice’ — believing it was water frozen so deeply it could never thaw.
  • Driftwood — Shaped by water, wind and time, weathered wood has become a natural symbol of resilience — still standing, beautifully changed.

Inside your garden

  • Raw amethyst, approx. 4–5 cm
  • Clear quartz chips, approx. 400 g
  • One piece of weathered driftwood — no two alike
  • Dried florals & greenery
  • Matte black ceramic pedestal cup

The last photo shows this same design on white, so you can see every detail.

How to live with it

Where it shines: A nightstand, a reading corner or the quiet end of a desk — anywhere you wind down. The black cup looks striking against pale walls and light wood.

A two-minute evening ritual: Dim the lights, rest a fingertip on the amethyst and name one thing you are ready to put down for the night. Let the clearing keep it until morning.

Size & weight

Pedestal cup approx. 13 cm (5.1 in) across the rim and 8 cm (3.1 in) tall; overall height varies with the driftwood. Total weight approx. 850–900 g.

Care

  • Keep indoors and dry; dust gently with a soft, dry brush or a puff of air.
  • Keep out of strong, direct sunlight to protect the colors of the stones and botanicals.
  • Contains small parts and natural stones — not a toy. Keep away from young children and pets.
  • The wood and dried botanicals are natural materials — keep them away from water and heat.

A gift with meaning

A thoughtful gift for a February birthday, a new home, or anyone in a busy season who deserves a quieter evening. In modern crystal lore, amethyst is often paired with Pisces and Aquarius.

One of a kind, by nature: every crystal is genuine natural stone, and every piece of driftwood is shaped by nature alone — the exact shade, veining and silhouette of yours will be beautifully, unrepeatably its own. Arranged by hand in Donghai, China’s crystal capital. Crystal meanings reflect folklore and tradition — we share them as symbolism, not promises.
